What is the minimum age for a tattoo or piercing?

Tattoos are 18+ with valid government-issued photo ID, no exceptions under California law. Minors can get certain piercings with a parent or legal guardian present; both must bring matching photo ID and complete consent forms. Call first to confirm the placement.

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Arcane Ink has an ADA-compliant entrance and accessible parking near the studio. Tell us about any accommodations you need when booking.

Arcane Ink has a $80 tattoo shop minimum, and most small-to-medium custom pieces run $80 to $400. Piercings start at $40 with jewelry priced separately. Sleeves, cover-ups, complex piercings and multi-session work are quoted individually at a free consultation. Most piercings land between $40 and $100+, depending on placement and jewelry. Size

The bigger the piece, the more session time and the more supplies it takes.

Detail

Fine line, realism and layered color take longer than bold, simple shapes.

Placement

Ribs, spine, hands and other curved or sensitive areas take longer to work.

Artist time

Drawing time, multi-session pieces and cover-ups all factor into the quote.

Covers setup, sterile single-use supplies and smaller work, regardless of design size.

Deposit policy

A deposit secures your tattoo appointment and is applied to your final total. The amount depends on the size and complexity of the piece. Deposits are non-refundable, including for missed appointments. If you need to move your date, tell us as early as you can and we will rebook you.

Piercings start at $40 and most run $40 to $100+ once jewelry is chosen. Jewelry is priced separately, because the jewelry you choose changes the total far more than the piercing itself.
